Choose from a wide selection of durable outdoor fabrics, colours, and textures to complement your home’s exterior style. Whether you prefer a sleek, modern look or a more traditional finish, each awning is custom crafted to enhance comfort and curb appeal.

Awning fabric styles & colour options
Durable Acrylic Fabrics
Our premium acrylic fabrics are designed to withstand Australia’s harsh sun and weather. They provide excellent UV protection while maintaining their vibrant colour and shape over time. Ideal for homes seeking long-lasting style with minimal maintenance. Choose from a range of neutral, earthy, and bold contemporary tones to suit your exterior.
Sunscreen Mesh Fabrics
Sunscreen mesh fabrics are perfect for reducing heat and glare while allowing natural airflow and visibility. Ideal for upper-storey or west-facing windows, these fabrics filter sunlight without blocking your view. Available in multiple openness levels and colours, they help keep your interiors cool and comfortable.
Blockout Fabrics
For maximum shade and privacy, our blockout fabrics completely block sunlight and heat, offering exceptional thermal performance. Perfect for areas that receive intense afternoon sun, these fabrics protect your windows, interiors, and furnishings while enhancing your home’s exterior appearance.
FAQ about pivot arm window awnings
What is a pivot arm awning?
A pivot arm awning is an external shading solution mounted above a window or door. Its fabric sheet is held aloft by articulated arms — these arms pivot to allow the awning to extend outward at an angle, giving shade while still allowing airflow.
How does a pivot arm awning operate?
Depending on the model, the awning can be manually extended using a crank or internal cord/tape system, or — for more convenience — fitted with a motor so you can control it with a switch or remote.
What are the main advantages of choosing a pivot arm awning?
- Effective protection from sun and heat, which helps keep interiors cooler.
Improved energy efficiency — by reducing direct sun entry, it can lessen reliance on air-conditioning.
Greater control over light and airflow — you can adjust the awning to block glare or allow breeze while still shading your home. Enhanced privacy for windows or doors, while still maintaining outdoor views when desired.
Aesthetically flexible — available in a range of fabrics, colours and styles so you can match the awning to your home’s exterior.
What materials are used in pivot arm awnings?
Typical pivot arm awnings use durable, weather-resistant fabrics, with aluminium or similar metal framing and robust moving components — built to handle sun exposure and outdoor conditions.
What type of windows or areas are pivot arm awnings suitable for?
They work well for standard windows, French-style windows, sliding or bifold doors, patios and balconies — especially where you want shade, airflow and the ability to open windows with the awning in place.
Can I motorise a pivot arm awning?
Yes. Pivot arm awnings can come with motorised operation for ease — ideal for larger windows, higher-storey dwellings, or simply for convenience.
