TSBC Warranty Policy
Service Fee
There is no service charge for any call-out made within the first 12 months from the full payment date. T&C’s apply and is subject to your product being operated and maintained as per our Care and Maintenance guide.
Inspection Fee
For service requests made after the 12-month period, an inspection fee of $250 (incl. GST) applies. This payment is required prior to the inspection and will be fully refunded if the Warranty Claim is approved.
Warranty Service
Any replacement products or components covered under warranty will be supplied at no cost. A service fee of $100 per hour applies for any work required to assess, repair or replace the affected product or component.
Motorisation
Please note that electrical work required by a licensed electrician is not covered under The Smart Blinds Co. Warranty.
Warranty Transfer
Warranties are non-transferable. If you move into a home with existing Smart Blinds Co. products, the original warranty is void and cannot be reassigned.
Inspection Access
All inspections are based on standard access. If special equipment such as scaffolding, extension ladders, or scissor lifts is required, additional costs will be quoted separately.
How to claim your warranty
- Stop using the product immediately if you notice a defect.
- You’ll need to provide proof of purchase when submitting your claim.
- To begin a claim, please submit a service ticket through this website.
- Our service team will respond within 5 business days of receiving your claim.
- In accordance with Australian Consumer Law, The Smart Blinds Co.’s liability under this Warranty is limited to the original purchase price or the cost of replacement, whichever applies.
